The Treasurer will be expected to: Liaise with the Financial Administrator to overview existing financial procedures. Attend monthly meeting of the Management Committee and present a detailed statement of Income and Expenditure. Prepare budgetary information and provide cash flow projections for Management Committee. Assist in the preparation of annual accounts for independent examination.

The new Treasurer would receive induction and on-the-job training from the Centre's Financial Administrator and be supported by other volunteers on the management committee.

Skills - Good communication, numeracy and IT skills with the ability to forward-plan and prepare budget projections.
Attitudes - Positive about people, belief in public service and commitment to community learning.
Experience - Book-keeping/financial accounting, previous experience of committee work desirable but not essential.
