Real Living is a lively, dynamic project run by Link Living. We offer a befriending service to people aged 65 and over who live in West Fife and are isolated and lonely and also run social cafes twice a week in Torryburn and Rosyth. Real Living are looking for drivers who can drive a 7-seater minibus (a regular licence category required) to transport our older members to and from their homes to the cafes. The cafes run on Tuesdays in Torryburn and Wednesdays and Fridays in Rosyth from 10:30am-12:30pm. Drivers will be required to pick up the mini bus from High Valleyfield around 9am and then take the bus back when finished around 1pm. We offer extensive training opportunities and regular meetings with other volunteers. Real Living also offer twice yearly outings for everyone involved in the project as well as support and supervision from the Project Workers.

We provide full induction training plus any other training which may be relevant e.g. first aid, manual handling, health & safety and food hygiene.

This opportunity is compatible with the Saltire Awards for volunteers aged 12-25.
