About this opportunity: | The Match Buddy will ensure that supporters reach their seats and exit the stadium safely. They will guide the supporter to the toilet facilities and ensure the supporter is shown back to their seat. They will offer support in the purchase of food and beverages, 50/50 tickets and programmes. They will also provide support in the purchase of goods from the Club shop, ticket office and/to from the hospitality suites/bars. The Match Buddy will also distribute blankets to the supporters when requested and collect them after the match. They will also distribute, demonstrate and collect audio commentary headsets for supporters. The Match Buddy will answer any queries relating to DAFC's accessibility programme and will record and notify line managers of any supporter comments. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

Training provided: | Full induction with health & safety procedures, DAFC's accessibility programme. Training courses will be delivered by internal and external agencies. Experience required: | Experience of providing care/support to adults with a range of disabilities including physical disabilities and sensory impairment. Good interpersonal skills, caring, patience and embrace equality and diversity. Handling certificate would be an advantage. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Restrictions on who can volunteer | Element of moving and handling and must be able to push wheelchairs in all weather conditions and stand for long periods. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
