    About this opportunity:RVS run a community transport service and volunteers provide transport across Fife, using their own cars, to those individuals who find that other transport systems don't meet their needs.
    Transport may be required for attendance at doctors/hospital appointments, to go shopping, to visit relatives or to attend a social group, etc, and volunteers may need to assist the elderly person in getting in and out of the car.
    You can give as much or as little time as you want and volunteer expenses will be paid.

    Training provided:Induction to organisation and role, policies and procedures and contact details for support.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Volunteers are paid mileage at a rate of 45p per mile. They are also covered for other out of pocket expenses such as car parking and any snacks while waiting at hospitals etc.

    Experience required:Volunteers must be caring, sympathetic, patient, honest and reliable individuals with good communication and listening skills. Volunteers must hold a full UK driving licence.
