    About this opportunity:The Salvation Army Charity Shop is looking for new volunteers to help out in their high street charity shop. They have opportunities in the back and front of their shop, so whether you'd rather support behind the scenes sorting donations or serve customers, create displays, and keep the shop clean and tidy, there is a role for you. They are also looking for volunteers with an interest in social media who can help to keep their Facebook page up to date and engaging.
    Volunteering for the Salvation Army is a great way to gain experience, meet new people and access training, all while helping the local community.

    Training provided:Volunteers are given a full induction within the shop, and have access to e-learning modules on an ongoing basis. Support will be available from charity shop staff and manager.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - 45p per mile and public transport rates.

    Experience required:Volunteers should be enthusiastic, willing to learn and able to volunteer independently. No experience is needed, as full training is provided.
