About this opportunity: | This is an innovative development which we hope will provide an invaluable learning experience for our medical students. Our intention is to encourage our students to understand more about patients' experience of illness and healthcare by spending some time talking to patients about their care. This is achieved by small groups of students talking to patients in the presence of a tutor. As well as the knowledge that they are helping to train the next generation of doctors, our volunteer patients find this role interesting and enjoyable. Experience required: | You do not need to prepare anything specifically in advance and no specialist knowledge is required as the students will be facilitated by clinical members of staff.
