    About this opportunity:Typical tasks could include taking someone on a short trip or helping them run errands, providing door-to-door assistance for an appointment or visit. Offering a trained volunteer escort and conveying passengers safely from their starting point to their final destination either in BRC vehicles or in the drivers own car. Accompanying someone on a public transport journey, enabling clinets to keep appointments safely and efficiently.

    Maximum age:70
    Training provided:New members undergo an induction course in the first 3 months to ensure that they are aware of the history and the principles of the Red Cross movement.

    Yes - 45p per mile

    Experience required:Full driving license. Understand the needs of clients of different ages/physical needs and varying backgrounds. Good interpersonal skills. Ability to work as a team member, alone and unsupervised as required.
