OpportunityAbout this opportunity: As a volunteer driver your role will be to either pick up, drop off, or undertake a return journey, with the children and young people we work with. The children and young people live throughout North East Fife. This service is vital to the children who attend our services as a means of support and time to relax and have fun. The children and young people look forward to attending their activities such as 1:1 befriending or youth groups. These activities benefit the children and young people's social and emotional development. As a driver you will contribute to their overall experience by interacting with the children and meeting their families. All drivers must be over 21, have to complete an application form, undergo an enhanced PVG check, provide 2 referees and undertake training. Drivers will also have to provide evidence of car insurance, MOT, tax, servicing history and driving licence. Takes place: mornings afternoons evenings Mondays 
Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays Minimum age: 21 Maximum age: 99 Training provided: Our volunteers go through a recruitment process and receive ongoing support and training throughout their time with us. All volunteers are assigned a supervisor whom they can contact at any time with any queries or concerns. Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Mileage rate 45p per mileExperience required: Drivers with proven driving experience who are able to communicate well with children and young people. Restrictions on who can volunteer
