Our clients are referred to us through doctors, nurses, social workers, home helps, neighbours and family members. In providing transport services, car ownership is essential and confidence in assisting individuals who may be frail or vulnerable. The role of our volunteers is to be supportive and essential qualities are discretion and tact. Volunteers receive a mileage allowance and any "out of pocket" expenses. Our Co-ordinator plans the work of the volunteers. All volunteers are required to have criminal record disclosures.

Yes - 45p per mile can be paid as and when requested. Generally fortnightly.
