  About this opportunity:	Do you know your way around a database or spreadsheet? Do you want to support girls and young women to have fun and be empowered? At Girlguiding they do everything from camping to campaigning! They're all about girls and young women laughing, learning and having adventures. Why not join the fun and be an admin support? They need volunteer admins to help add new members, contact parents/carers, keep records up to date, organise amazing trips, or help them get funding and keep their finances ship shape. Volunteering with Girlguiding Scotland looks great on a CV, and can improve skills like teamwork, communication, events planning and IT. It's great experience if you want a career in admin or IT. You can get extra training like First Aid, and they'll help you every step of the way.
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	18
  Maximum age:	100
  Training provided:	You will receive all the support and training you need to undertake your role. Here are some of the things they offer: An invitation to attend a welcome evening followed by an induction. Ongoing support from other volunteers as well as the lead volunteer for your area. As a volunteer you will also be a member of Girlguiding and will be able to access the many benefits that comes with this, including: - Meeting new people and having fun. - Developing your skills and confidence. - Training opportunities and qualifications. - A chance to be creative. - Being part of your community and making a difference. - A positive impact on your health and wellbeing.
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - Expenses are paid in line with Girlguiding's expenses policy. Please note that expenses are covered by Girlguiding as well as membership. Personal financial circumstances are no barrier to joining Girlguiding!
  Experience required:	You will be given all the training and support you need to carry out your role but here are some skills and qualities you will need for starters: - Good communication skills. - Prepared and organised. - Reliable and trustworthy.

  Travel Details	This opportunity can be completed from home or from a unit. There are Rainbows, Brownies and Guides groups across Fife - Glenrothes, Dunfermline, Cairneyhill, Carnock, Saline, Kirkcaldy, Markinch, Aberdour, Dalgety Bay, Rosyth, Inverkeithing, Ladybank, Kingskettle, Leven, Wormit and Steelend.
  Saltire Award	This opportunity is compatible with the Saltire Awards for volunteers aged 12-25.
