  About this opportunity:	Dunfermline Greenspace is a local organisation set up to benefit the community of Dunfermline and to preserve, restore and improve the environment  •  They aim to use public greenspace to benefit and protect the wellbeing, health, recreation and leisure of the community, while also providing education, training and volunteering opportunities  •  They are currently looking for new trustees to join their board  •  As a board member, you will attend monthly meetings and make decisions on behalf of the charity  •  If you have a passion for greenspaces, the environment, and heritage, and want to make Dunfermline a better and more accessible place for the local community, this could be the ideal role for you  •
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	18
  Maximum age:	100
  Training provided:	There will be an induction to cover the policies and procedures, a trustee pack with organisational information and signposting to relevant training sessions.
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - Expenses reimbursed at 45p per mile or public transport rates.
  Experience required:	No specific requirements; however, director/management experience would be a helpful bonus. An interest in preserving and enhancing our green spaces, as well as addressing climate and biodiversity emergencies on a community level, would also be beneficial.
  Restrictions on who can volunteer	No unspent criminal convictions related to violence, fraud or similar offences.
