    About this opportunity:Nourish provide vital support for many in our community, our Support Centre plays an integral role to the support we provide; with this in mind we have vacancies for volunteer playroom and craft room assistants to make sure all contact with Nourish is positive, supportive and effective
     •  The volunteering role will support our family support team and their programme of events within our playroom area
     •  interacting with children within the space, keeping the room clean and tidy, rotating play equipment etc
     •  There are different parttime volunteering hours available throughout the week and will be within the hours of 9:30 and 4:30 pm

    Training provided:inductions are carried out as volunteers start regarding all Health and Safety issues and wellbeing within their place of volunteering. Induction, mentoring and buddying is then put in place to allow volunteers to feel empowered to carry out the role effectively. Regular catch up session are held to understand and support needs Regular team building events are held including volunteers and employees. Learning and training opportunities are shared with all volunteers
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - As part of a volunteers induction they will be shown how to claim any out of pocket travel expenses which are payable weekly. Please note Nourish offer all volunteers beverages and snacks on site

    Experience required:Volunteers need to have a sunny disposition and to be able to work as part of a team, no specific skills are needed as training and mentoring will be provided where needed.
