    Training provided:All Age Scotland Volunteers will be taken through their bespoke Volunteer Journey. This includes initial and on-going training by your Volunteer Supporter and Volunteer development & training officer. Training includes Diversity & inclusion, GDPR, Dementia and Veterans training. Volunteers will be supported throughout their journey, with regular 1-1's with your volunteer supporter to ensure you feel comfortable and confident in your role.

    Yes - Volunteers will be reimbursed for all necessary travel required for this role.

    Experience required:No experience is necessary, just a passion and drive to help create communities where everyone can love later life. Creativity is also useful for organising events. Required skills include: Good communication and organisational skills, outgoing and friendly, enjoy meeting people.

    Travel DetailsThis role will predominately be in your local community. Age Scotland are keen to support volunteers across various local authorities in Scotland. An induction and training session will take place in the Age Scotland offices in Causewayside House, Edinburgh. Expenses will be provided. This role is based from our office in Causewayside, Edinburgh. The role is flexible and you can give as much or as little time as you are able.
