     •  The Ruby Boots project is seeking enthusiastic volunteers to help children and young people from Armed Forces families navigate their transition to civilian life
     •  What you'll do: -Support peer group sessions for children and young people, aged 5-18 -Build positive relationships with young people during a significant life transition -Help facilitate discussions on important topics like confidence-building, managing change, and creating support networks -Opportunities to progress and develop experience in leading, training, administration, develop session plans, and more

    Training provided:• Comprehensive training (6 hours total - flexible delivery options), including the NSPCC Safeguarding training. • Valuable experience in trauma-informed practice • Regular support and mentoring
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Public transport costs reimbursed or mileage at the rate of 45p per mile.

    Experience required:You must: Have Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a youth work setting -Have great communication skills -Enjoy working with children and young people To foster a good balance, we would be especially keen to hear from more Male volunteers
