  About this opportunity:	Typical tasks associated with this role will involve the following: -Organise fundraising events -Encourage societies, clubs and individual students to get involved in fundraising -Help to raise the profile of Marie Curie on Campus by running a stall at Student Fairs and other similar events -Encourage students to take part in Marie Curie Challenges (walks, trecks etc) and Fundraising My Way events (fundraising efforts which are chosen by the supporters themselves)  •
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	16
  Maximum age:	100
  Training provided:	All volunteers will receive an induction and training on the relevant social media platforms used by Marie Curie. Support and Supervision will be provided by the local Community Fundraiser.
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - Expenses should be agreed with Marie Curie in advance however as this role will be predominantly based on Campus, expenses will not be frequently incurred.
  Experience required:	We are looking to speak with engaging and encouraging University students with good communication skills. Experience in events management would be beneficial but not essential.
