    About this opportunity:Dunfermline based Talk Matters offers counselling/ psychotherapy for up to 50 clients per week and placement opportunities for those training in the field
     •  Talk Matters is seeking volunteer trustees to join its board
     •  Trustees contribute to the realisation of Talk Matters' goal of relieving people in need of psychological support by the provision of a financially accessible, professional counselling service
     •  The board is fully responsible for the governance and fiscal probity of the charity
     •  Ten monthly meetings are held with an annual general meeting in November
     •  Presently, the board comprises five trustees
     •  The charity is held in high standing and trustees are rightly protective of its reputation
     •  There is an opportunity for you to use your skills in the areas of HR/IT/Finance or Law whilst other skills in administration and fundraising would be most welcome
     •  It is not necessary that you have work/volunteering experience within the psychological therapy sector
