    About this opportunity:Lucky Ewe is seeking to bring extra energy and perspective to its Trustee group as they grow this new educational charity in NE Fife

     •  They wish to recruit trustees who work well with others & have the experience & foresight to help steer them forward
     •  They are interested in individuals with a financial, business development or farming background, but all volunteers will be kindly considered
     •  Trustees who want to volunteer in practical tasks on the farm are also welcome
     •  You should work well with the appointed staff
     •  Trustees meet at least once a month, via Zoom if preferred
     •  Each trustee needs to prepare for the monthly meeting, participate creatively in the meeting, give their best considered advice, and complete their accepted actions from the meeting in a timely way
     •  Altogether a trustee should expect to give 5 hours per month to the charity, though they may choose to give more time
     •  Meetings are set for Mondays

    Training provided:The volunteer Trustee will have a guided tour of farm facilities, an in-depth discussion with one or more Trustees covering the aims and activities of the charity. A current Trustee will be appointed as a 'buddy' to the new start.

    Experience required:Essential skills: good communication, including email & Zoom, facility for working with others. Also useful: bookkeeping & accounts, project development, practical farming skills, sheep husbandry, dairying. Attitude: proactive and keen to see Lucky Ewe flourish. Also useful qualities: sympathetic to Lucky Ewe beneficiaries, community spirited. Individuals experienced in all walks of life are welcome.

    Travel DetailsLucky Ewe is based in Cupar, and the rented holding, where most of the sheep are kept, is at Bonnyton Farm by Leven KY8 5PF. Currently Trustees communicate via phone, email, in Zoom meetings and/or in person.
