    About this opportunity:Alzheimer Scotland are now recruiting across Fife for volunteer drivers to provide transport for people living with dementia to enable them to attend local activities, Day Care services and Information Cafes
     •  Volunteer drivers may also be asked to support the Alzheimer Scotland Memory Bus at arranged events
     •  As an Alzheimer Scotland Fife volunteer driver you can make a real difference to the lives of people living with dementia to help them feel part of the community and stop them feeling isolated and lonely
    Takes place:
    Minimum age:17
    Maximum age:70
    Training provided:Full training and support will be given.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Public transport and car mileage rates paid.

    Experience required:All that is needed is a full and valid driving licence and access to a roadworthy and fully taxed/MoTd vehicle. No experience of dementia is necessary as full training and support will be given.

    Travel DetailsThe opportunity is available across Fife. The travel time would not exceed more than half an hour/45 minutes from the residence of the person living with dementia to the local activity, Information Cafe or Day Care service.
