    About this opportunity:British Heart Foundation is looking for volunteers to join our shop teams
     •  Volunteers are the lifeblood of our organsiation
     •  As well as contributing to a worthwhile cause, volunteering is something practical you can do to help fight heart disease, the UK's single biggest killer
     •  You will make new friends, learn new skills and have opportunities to develop within the BHF
     •  You will be supported in your training by the shop manager and for your contribution you will also receive 25% discount
    Takes place:
    Minimum age:16
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:All volunteers to complete 4-module training programme on BHF, Health & Safety, Security & Disability Act. Training supported by the manager and taken at the volunteer's pace. Additional training provided if volunteer wishes to develop/improve skills.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - 45p per mile or bus fares paid on the day (after 4 hours work).

    Experience required:A good knowledge of books, current authors, fiction and non-fiction and an ability to discuss books with customers
