About this opportunity:
The Trust is looking for volunteers who would enjoy helping at the Information Hub on Falkland Estate offering a warm welcome to visitors •
The Information Hub is open to visitors from 10am to 4pm every day •
The duties of the Information Hub are:
Giving information to visitors e • g • maps on where to walk on the Estate, history of the place, information on wildlife •
Topping up leaflets •
Chatting to customers •
Serving light refreshments such as tea/coffee/cakes •
Happy to handle cash and cashless payments •
Helping with some of the general cleaning to keep the place tidy (light cleaning only, we do not expect volunteers to do heavy duty cleaning!)
Please note this is a dog friendly venue so dogs are welcome inside with responsible owners •

A member of staff will stay with the volunteer on the first few shifts to make sure they are okay and the volunteer can be buddied up with an existing volunteer.
There are written induction processes which we will take them through e.g. risk assessments, handling food.
Volunteers are invited to events at the Centre such as volunteer meals and the Christmas party.

Volunteers will need to get to Falkland Estate - there is a car park by the Stables or there is a bus stop in the village (then a 10-15 minute walk).
