    About this opportunity:This role involves:- Coordinate regular meetings with the group to plan ways to fundraise and organise events
     •  These meetings can be face-to-face, Skype or conference call
     •  Each group decides an achievable goal and plans events for everyone to enjoy
     •  Ensure that accurate, relevant and up to date information is available at each meeting
     •  By participating at internal events, meetings you continue to encourage and inspire established volunteers
     •  Assist Volunteer Coordinator by conducting regular reviews with Regional Support group volunteers to ensure they are happy and supported
     •  Participate at local events
     •  Attend cheque presentations on behalf of the charity
     •  Coordinate with the assistance of Volunteer Coordinator, volunteer inductions and volunteer training within your local community
     •  Give talks and presentations
    Takes place:
    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:Induction process. Regular and ongoing support from Medical Detection Dogs and Regional Fundraisers. Invitation to an awareness/speaker training day. Shadowing and training opportunities and peer support from Regional Fundraisers and Regional Coordinator.

    Experience required:Good communication and interpersonal skills. Enthusiastic, organised, confident and motivated. Act as an Ambassador. Good IT skills. (Need to contact your motor insurer to make them aware you are a volunteer for Medical Detection Dogs)
