About this opportunity:Leonard Cheshire (LC) provide day care services at Rosyth, Glenrothes and Dysart and also provide residential care and supported living services within the Fife area
     •  LC have been based in Glenrothes since 1984 providing services for those with learning/physical disabilities and sensory impairments
     •  At LC we encourage those that use our services to be as independent as possible, supporting them to focus on what they can do and not what they cannot
     •  Volunteers play a major part in helping us to do this, and much more, for the benefit of those that use our services
     •  Ideally the volunteer would provide support to organise promotional events/activities combining this with fundraising
     •  Monies raised through fundraising can go towards social outings, provision of specialised equipment, maintenance of sensory gardens, sensory rooms, etc
     •  Those that use our services are consulted on how we can use these funds to benefit all that use our services
     •  If you also have knowledge of your local community, good communication and organisational skills and be able to complete tasks independently, that would be great!
