About this opportunity:
We are looking for volunteers to place and look after Marie Curie collection tins in their area, to raise funds for local Marie Curie Nurses • Help us to find shops and businesses in your area to take a Marie Curie tin for their counter • You'll then be the local contact for that tin, making sure it is collected and banked regularly, and that a thank you certificate is provided •
We need you to have a genuine interest in supporting the work of Marie Curie in the community, and a friendly manner with the confidence to speak to local business about supporting Marie Curie •
By volunteering with us, you'll play an important role in supporting our charity locally • We'll provide all the materials and guidance you need and you'll have regular support from your local fundraiser • We'll also invite you to an annual thank you event, to meet other Marie Curie volunteers in Fife •

The volunteers will meet with the local fundraiser to fully discuss the role and then will be provided with all the materials, information and training required.
Out of pocket expenses paid?
Yes - Travel can be reimbursed on production of receipts and 45p per mile can be claimed for essential journeys. Please get in touch for full details of expenses which can be claimed. Volunteer expenses are paid monthly.
