    About this opportunity:You will generate income for Gilvenbank Community Sports Hub through events and individual giving by: Developing new and imaginative fundraising activities, some of which may be events-based
     •  Raising awareness of the charity and its work
     •  Developing and coordinating web-based fundraising
     •  Working with all forms of media and producing supporting materials such as posters, websites and online newsletters to promote, market and advertise forthcoming events
     •  Making grant applications

    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:Support from the Community Sport Hub Sport Development Officer working for Fife Council. The volunteer will be able to source relevant courses they feel would support them in the role. Monthly 1-1 meetings with the committee/sport development officer to see how they are getting on, what else they may need. Will sit down and have an initial induction with the committee on what the hub is all about, what their role will include, and what the process will be.

    Travel DetailsThe volunteer can mainly base themselves from home, but will need to come into Glenrothes for meetings with the hub, and to any areas relevant to help fundraising and creating any events. The volunteer will need to be able to travel to any places needed in the area.
