  About this opportunity:	Volunteering is a fantastic way to make a difference to the life of someone else  •  It can also be a fantastic opportunity to enhance your own life and build new skills to help your personal and career development  •  Our peer mentors offer support to adults aged 25-40yrs with disabilities  •  Peer Mentors support the adult in improving socialization, broadening horizons and to try new experiences  •  The Peer Mentor will also improve the adults' confidence, self-esteem, health and well-being skills by meeting up with them on a regular basis, to build a trusting one to one relationship  •  Events will be pre-arranged and facilitated and will involve small groups  •  For example, two peer mentors and two adults going to the cinema or for a meal  •  This allows the person space and a suitable environment to explore and build up friendships  •
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	18
  Maximum age:	35
  Training provided:	Induction and ongoing training for volunteers and support.
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - Travel expenses paid.

  Restrictions on who can volunteer	This is the age group we will be mentoring and we will be accessing licensed premises.
