    About this opportunity:Elizabeth House are looking for someone to volunteer to assist service users and staff with local outings, e

     •  shopping trips, tea dances, bar lunches, cinema, swimming, walks and sometimes further afield to the safari park
     •  This may be as a group activity on a more person centred 1-1 activity
     •  Volunteers need to be quite active and out-going and able to assist service users with activities such as swimming and shopping etc
     •  There will also be a certain amount of assisting residents to move around, transfer from seats etc for which training will be given
     •  You will need to be a member of the PVG scheme for this opportunity

    Training provided:Induction will entail a chat with the manager, a tour of the premises covering fire safety, an introduction to staff members and service users.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Travel expenses can be refunded. However, Elizabeth House do not refund the cost of joining the PVG scheme.

    Experience required:No skills required as training will be given. The volunteer should possess a kind and caring attitude.
