    About this opportunity:RVS run a community transport service and volunteers provide transport across Fife, using their own cars, to those individuals who find that other transport systems don't meet their needs
     •  Transport may be required for attendance at doctors/hospital appointments, to go shopping, to visit relatives or to attend a social group, etc, and volunteers may need to assist the elderly person in getting in and out of the car
     •  You can give as much or as little time as you want and volunteer expenses will be paid

    Training provided:Induction to organisation and role, policies and procedures and contact details for support.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?
    Yes - Volunteers are paid mileage at a rate of 45p per mile. They are also covered for other out of pocket expenses such as car parking and any snacks while waiting at hospitals etc.

    Experience required:Volunteers must be caring, sympathetic, patient, honest and reliable individuals with good communication and listening skills. Volunteers must hold a full UK driving licence.
