    About this opportunity:Volunteer to assist day care workers, join in on recreational activities with the elderly who the majority have a form of dementia
     •  Sit and chat to the group providing socialisation and company to individuals in the group, assist with lunches and general running of the day-to-day routine and volunteers can also assist with escorting duties

    Experience required:Able to interact well within a group, caring and understanding of elderly needs. Experience of working in the care sector an advantage but not essential but must have a genuine interest in older people. Have patience and a good sense of humour and most of all be willing to give up some of your spare time for the elderly in the community.
