    About this opportunity:This opportunity provides an interesting and stimulating way to fill a few hours of your time - helping to welcome and guide visitors who come from near and far
     •  Also some behind-the-scenes work during off season
     •  As a volunteer you will be given training to ensure that you are competent to assist visitors on your own, if you wish you will be provided with information about Fife Folk Museum pertinent to the task
     •  If you are interested in history and especially local history and people, you will find this a rewarding opportunity
     •  You will meet a variety of and answer visitors queries on a variety of topics relating to the Museum
     •  When you are fully trained you will deal with visitors as they arrive
    Takes place:
    Minimum age:18
    Maximum age:no upper age limit has been specified
    Training provided:Initial training will be 2.5 hours - covering general routine, opening and closing museum, local history information, general health and safety procedures and introduction to the rest of the team. Buddy training will also be provided.
    Out of pocket expenses paid?

    Experience required:The ability to engage with people of all ages in an informative and friendly way, a good listener and able to respond to relevant questions. Flexibility is desirable with a willingness to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
