  About this opportunity:	Greener Kirkcaldy is a community-led charity working locally to bring people together, take positive action on the climate emergency and support people through fuel poverty and food insecurity  •  They have a volunteering role in our Lang Spoon Community Kitchen, a welcoming place to grow confidence, learn new skills and be part of a friendly, climate-conscious food community  •  You’ll volunteer as part of a supportive team, helping with food preparation, cooking, serving meals, washing up and creating a warm, inclusive atmosphere  •  As well as getting to know your fellow volunteers, you'll get to know some of the regular diners and hopefully feel more connected to the community  •  This role is ideal if you want to build kitchen confidence, develop practical food skills, or learn more about plant-based, seasonal and climate-friendly cooking  •  You might be starting out and looking for support, or you may already have experience and enjoy encouraging and supporting others in the kitchen  •
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	11
  Maximum age:	100
  Training provided:	Full induction and REHIS Elementary Food Hygiene training are provided, along with ongoing support and opportunities to learn.
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - We pay Public transport rates every week.
  Experience required:	No previous experience required. A full induction/ taster and ongoing support and training will be given
