    About this opportunity:Circle of Comfort is a charity that provides complementary therapies to people diagnosed with Cancer, Multiple Sclerosis and Parkinson’s Disease in their own home or in hospital, free of charge
     •  Circle of Comfort is managed by a voluntary Executive Committee of Trustees, and the board meets on a bimonthly basis
     •  They have an opening for a Treasurer to join the team
     •  The role of the Treasurer will be to: Liaise with the Chairperson and committee members to ensure the financial viability of the organisation (balance sheet, cash flow, fundraising performance, etc)
     •  Undertake bookkeeping duties and ensure posting and bookkeeping is kept up-to-date
     •  Arrange payments to creditors and arrange appropriate signatures/authorisations on payments
     •  Attend the organisation's Executive Meetings (three times per year) and the AGM and report on the financial position
     •  Prepare the annual accounts for submission to OSCR and liaise with an independent examiner

    Travel DetailsCircle of Comfort hold bi-monthly trustee meetings alternating face to face meetings with zoom meetings. The Face-to-face meetings are held in Dunfermline or Mid Calder. Traveling expenses are paid. All meetings are in the evening.
