| About this opportunity: | Do you like to organise, sort tidy and complete other jobs inside and outside? Then, this is the opportunity to people so try to make it sound interesting and worthwhile • Siblings Reunited (STAR) reunites brothers and sisters separated in the care system, by providing the opportunity for quality and regular sibling contact • Run from its unique farmland setting, it provides a safe, natural, calming and fun environment, where children can foster emotional bonds and help overcome the trauma associated with being separated from their siblings • In your role, you would pitch in, in a variety of practical ways, to maintain the smooth running of the site and service • In particular keeping resources organised and easily accessible • In addition to building maintenance and organisational skills, you will also benefit from being part of a committed and friendly team of volunteers and staff • Come and join us! | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Training provided: | Induction includes a tour of the site, location of tools etc, expectations, an informal chat about STAR's vision for its environment, health & safety policy and site risk assessment. | Out of pocket expenses paid? | Yes - Traveling expenses are paid at 0.45 per mile or public transport tickets up to a total of £15.00 per session, (due to funding limitations) | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Experience required: | Applicants should be keen, enthusiastic and adaptable. They should be able to use their initiative but also to follow instructions /to do list. They should be able to work on their own or as part of a team. They should understand the importance of health & safety guidelines for themselves and others using the site. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
