| Training provided: | They provide a full induction (Health & Safety). Each volunteer will be partnered up with a fully experienced member of staff to begin with, and there will always be a named contact on hand to provide support. PAT Tester training can be acquired for volunteers. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Out of pocket expenses paid? | Yes - Travel expenses are paid at 10p per mile for walking, 24p per mile for a motorbike, 45p per mile for driving and full payment for bus tickets. These expenses are available on a case by case basis | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Experience required: | Furniture Plus are happy to receive volunteers who are willing and keen to learn new skills, whilst growing confidence, meeting new people, have fun and feeling part of your local community. A knowledge of different electrical items, an ability to use basic tools, and an ability to make independent decisions are needed for this role.
