    About this opportunity:The Lang Spoon Kitchen, part of Greener Kirkcaldy, is a place for people to grow, cook, eat and learn
     •  The organisation run a range of exciting food and cooking activities including courses and workshops and a weekly community meal
     •  To support this, Greener Kirkcaldy are looking for an experienced cook to assist with the cooking classes
     •  This role may be suitable for a retired home economics teacher, or somebody with similar teaching experience and a love for cooking
     •  As well as cooking, this role will likely involve the following tasks: -Cleaning, doing dishes and lending a hand at courses and workshops -Working with adults, young people and families

    Training provided:A general induction to GK plus all health and safety compliances in the kitchen. Accredited food hygiene and allergy awareness training

    Experience required:Due to the nature of this role, the organisation is looking for an experienced cook with teaching experience. In addition to this, the individual should be happy to work in a team, friendly, approachable and reliable.
