Walking Group Volunteer
with Seescape.
| About this opportunity: | Seescape support over 3500 people with severe visual impairments in Fife for their Dunfermline walking group • They require enthusiastic and sociable volunteers to join their group of visually impaired walkers • They are keen to help, not only to prevent those with visual impairments from becoming socially isolated but to encourage as many as possible to remain physically active • Volunteers are sought from across Fife in the hope of being able to expand this activity in other areas of Fife while also complimenting the current volunteers in Dunfermline • This is an opportunity for volunteers to make a real difference to the lives of some of our most vulnerable members of society, to give them a structure and foster new friendships • This role may appeal to those in retirement, semi-retirement or people with spare time on their hands who would like to give something back to the community while themselves experiencing the great outdoors • | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
