  About this opportunity:	This role will support the routine activity of our community Garden group providing a warm welcome to those who use the facility  •  People living with dementia, their family and friends and anyone with an interest in dementia can attend this activity group  •  The role may vary but is likely to include; -Offering and providing refreshments to the people who attend  •  -Listening and interacting with people living with dementia, family members and the general public who attend the group  •  -Where appropriate, help people with their gardening tasks  •  -Keeping up to date with Alzheimer Scotland news and our work across Scotland  •
  Takes place:	mornings afternoons evenings Mondays Tuesdays Wednesdays Thursdays Fridays Saturdays Sundays
  Minimum age:	18
  Maximum age:	100
  Training provided:	The volunteer with have a volunteer induction training session with the Volunteer Co-Ordinator. Then ongoing training relevant to the volunteer role and corporate policies e.g. Dementia Friends training; Brain Health training
  Out of pocket expenses paid?	Yes - We will pay public transport expenses as long as the volunteer keeps the receipts. We will pay fuel mileage (45 p per mile) when the volunteer uses their own vehicle. These will be reimbursed monthly.
