Prescription deliveries in Fife for priority and vulnerable patients
FVA has partnered with NHS Fife, Fife Health and Social Care Partnership and Fife Council to provide a prescription delivery service for those in Fife that are most in need.
We're working with over 80 pharmacies across the region, with volunteer drivers uplifting and delivering prescriptions to those who are the most at risk in the event of a COVID-19 infection. Individuals must be unable to collect their prescriptions themselves and have no one who can collect them on their behalf. Please respect this, so that this important service can be made available for those most in need.
Important: Our telephone helpline is under huge pressure, with high call volumes most of the time. Please complete the form below if you can - it will be quicker and enable your request to get into our system sooner. Please only call if you cannot complete the form below. Thank you.
We are unable to leave prescriptions unattended, our volunteer can leave it on your doorstep, ring your doorbell and step back to avoid contact - we need to know that you have it in your possession - those are the rules we must follow.
Do you normally get your prescriptions delivered by your pharmacy?
If yes, then you will continue to get them directly from your own pharmacy, although there may be slight delays due to the volume of prescriptions they are having to process. Please do not request a delivery from our service - your medication will be delivered by your pharmacy.
If you need to talk to us to discuss your prescription requirement please call our helpline on 0800 389 6046 (8am to 8pm, 7 days a week).
Methadone and Subutex: Unfortunately, we are unable to collect or deliver these drugs. Please contact addiction services on 01592 716 446 if you need help with these items.
