    Sustrans Scotland - Community Links

The programme for 2018 -19, run in partnership with the Scottish Government, will prioritise projects that make our towns and cities friendlier and safer places for people to walk and cycle.

Sustrans Scotland’s Community Links programme provides funding for the creation of infrastructure that makes it easier for people to walk and cycle for everyday journeys. This year, they will prioritise ambitious, inclusive projects that make our towns and cities friendlier and safer places for people to walk and cycle. New features for 2018/19: walking projects that consider the street user hierarchy and create a sense of place will be eligible for funding; the programme has been split into a design stream and a construction stream; projects tackling dangerous junctions will be prioritised and extra support provided. Next deadline date for applications is 30 March 2018.
