    Charity Grants

The British and Foreign School Society gives grants to charities for educational activities. Grants are given to organisations with UK charitable status and are for the purpose of advancing educational opportunity in the UK and developing countries.

Applications from charitable organisations which meet the grant criteria are initially reviewed by the BFSS office, and may then be submitted to the Grants Committee, which normally meets three times a year. Applications for the remaining 2017 meeting of the Committee is now closed.

The next Grants Committee meeting will be held at the end of May 2018, and the closing date for applications is the end of Monday 09 April 2018.
