Greener Kirkcaldy - Cosy Kingdom Discretionary Guidelines
Created: 13/12/2017, Updated: 14/12/2017Discretionary payments are a financial contribution Greener Kirkcaldy provide to participants who find themselves in crisis for a short period, with either no gas or electricity, depending on their system.
They apply these payments directly onto their energy supply meters to meet a short-term energy crisis. The length can vary and each advisor shall have to judge how much energy each participant needs to resolve the immediate crisis.
Here at Greener Kirkcaldy (Cosy Kingdom) they want to support all their participants in what is becoming a tough time for many participants in Fife. Although they have a small discretionary fund, it is important to give out all the information available first before they offer their fund to ensure the participant does not miss out on what can prove to be larger funds available.
Each participant or supporting partner will be asked if they have applied for the following statutory body funds before they can access Greener Kirkcaldy's discretionary funds.
