News/Events Category: VolunteeringOur next Volunteer Recruitment and Management e-bulletin is in the planning, and we are looking forward to sending it out for your comment. It will include information from our most recent Forum, the topic of which was Increasing Volunteer Participation Throughout Fife - we'll include participants comments and our own thoughts on the subject. We also like to keep you up to date with forthcoming national and international campaign and awareness days (such as Just Giving, this year on 28 November).
As we announced at the last Forum, 05 November is an important date in the volunteering sector, as it is International Volunteer Managers Day. FVA are planning to have a special edition of our Volunteer Recruitment and Management e-bulletin and encourage you to send us ideas and suggestions for content to [email protected].
We have also decided to bring our next Volunteer Managers' Forum forward which will now take place on Wednesday 01 November. The 05 November is a Sunday or we would have had it then! The Forum will still be in Kirkcaldy and we'd love to hear any ideas you have for a topic. We want to celebrate and appreciate the great job that Fife's Volunteer Managers are doing, as well as acknowledge the various challenges and motivations it brings.
We will send a reminder out in our next bulletin but meantime, make sure you pencil in 01 November in your diary (you'll still need to book for this, details to follow nearer the time) and cancel the previously announced date of 22 November. We look forward to seeing you then, and before then, we look forward to hearing from you.
