Social media was a-buzz with brilliant stories from Volunteers' Week (1 - 7 June), a week where volunteers are celebrated and acknowledged; stories from volunteers telling us why they do what they do, what they get from it and why their organisation is the best!

This great round-up of Scotland-wide posts is really worth reading - it will warm your heart, surprise you and the variety of places to volunteer will interest and inspire you. And remember that just because you don't see something promoted in another part of Scotland, doesn't mean it doesn't happen in Fife!

Make sure you ask us if you see something you want to know more about and check out the summary here. Be sure to look out for the post on our Facebook page from one of our staff team Pegs, and a picture of her and her daughter. Yes, we are and have been, volunteers too.
