  • Get on Board! Become a volunteer trustee

    Created: 07/06/2017, Updated: 15/06/2017

Would you like to volunteer, but feel you don't have enough time to commit to something regularly? Do you feel passionate about a particular cause or community issue? Do you enjoy being part of a team? If you can answer 'yes' to any of the above questions, then we've got just the opportunity for you! Voluntary organisations couldn't exist without volunteer board members/trustees/directors/management committee members.

These volunteers take a shared responsibility for running the organisation. You don't need management experience, you just need to have an interest in what the organisation does.

Training and support is available and the time commitment is usually something that anybody can manage, even those in full-time employment! Have a look here at our brand new web page dedicated entirely to charity and third sector committees, boards and trustees. - we have a great new graphic and logo to go with it and lots of updated opportunities, as well as some really useful information and links all about this topic.

Our usual volunteering page also has our new Get on Board logo beside appropriate opportunities and you can look at this by clicking here.
