FVA to host workshops on Community Empowerment Act
Created: 09/02/2017Fife Voluntary Action is set to host a series of workshops and events looking at the Community Empowerment Act and asset transfer.
This comes in the wake of further sections of the Act coming into force.
The events will focus of what the powers in the Act mean for local communities and how they can take over the running of public buildings.
Fife Council hosted a seminar this week highlighting the opportunities available which saw around 100 representatives from communities across Fife come together to find out more.
