Volunteers required - Fife Craft Collaboration Event
Created: 01/10/2014This is a unique chance for two young people aged 15 -18 to take part in the Fife Craft Collaboration event being held from 20 to 24 October 2014 at Centre for Stewardship, Falkland Estate, Falkland. Fife Craft Collaboration is a week-long event where 20 local and international artists and crafts people will come together to make new work and to try out new materials. It will be a chance to push artistic boundaries, to learn, to celebrate craft and to have fun.
Living Lomond Partnership are delighted to be able to offer two places for young people aged 15 -18 to take part in the Craft Collaboration, under their Work on the Wild side work experience programme for school leavers. They will be accompanied and supported throughout the week by two professional woodworkers, skilled in training young people. This is an excellent opportunity for young people who would like to develop their craft skills working with wood. They will be expected to attend for the full week (Monday to Friday).
Anyone who is interested is invited to apply for a place by e-mailing [email protected] by Monday 6th October.
An informal interview at the Centre for Stewardship will follow.
