Help create Fife’s new Equalities Hub
Created: 10/07/2014Fife Voluntary Action is working in partnership with Fife Council and NHS Fife to establish a new Equalities Hub for Fife. This new project is at a very early stage and we’re looking for people to join a Steering Group to help shape this new service and ensure it delivers improvements in equality and diversity across Fife.
We’ll be publishing more information about this new service, through our website and e-mail bulletins over the coming weeks and months. We don’t yet have detailed plans for exactly what will be done and how – and deliberately so. We want to engage with a diverse range of stakeholders and involve them in shaping this new service. The Steering Group is the first and most significant way of getting involved.
We’re looking for nominations from people (staff or board members) from third sector organisations who bring an excellent knowledge and expertise in the equalities field (any of the 9 protected characteristics as defined in the Equality Act 2010).
