Fife Care Academy and Fife College have confirmed there will be another opportunity to access the public funded Advanced Certificate: Careers into Care Including SVQ 2 course starting in August 2025.
This course emphasises the integrated approach to health and social care, focusing on promoting health, safety, and security within the workplace. It covers key areas such as effective communication, reflective practice for professional development, and safeguarding individuals. The qualification ensures a holistic, person-centred approach to care across diverse settings, providing learners with the skills to work effectively in a range of environments.
The SVQ 2 Social Services and Healthcare SCQF 6 is accepted by the SSSC for registered workers on the Support Worker register.
This course requires one day per week attendance in college and the remaining time is distance learning. The funding is subject to eligibility requirements, you can contact the college if you need a bit of help or advice, 0344 248 0115 or e-mail [email protected].
