    The Austin and Hope Pilkington Trust gives grants to registered charities that work in the UK. They focus on specific priorities every year.

    In grant rounds 3 and 4, the theme is Refugees and Asylum Seekers. To be eligible, a project must focus exclusively on refugees and/or asylum seekers as its beneficiaries, without extending services to other groups.

    Who can apply?

    They only award grants to organisations registered with the Charity Commission or OSCR, or exempt from registration.

    In grant rounds 1 and 3, the minimum annual income and expenditure is £100,000 and the maximum is £1m.

    In grant rounds 2 and 4, the minimum income and expenditure is £1m with no maximum.

    Minimum annual income: £100,000

    Maximum annual income: £1,000,000

    How to apply

    An online application form is available on the Trust website. Please apply only if your charity meets the relevant income and expenditure criteria. This changes each round so check the website guidelines before applying.

    The closing date for applications is Thursday 31 July 2025.
