It is too late to book a place for this particular session, sorry about that.

In this session, you will work through each component of Kitbag experiencing how it is used and reflecting on how this can help you in your work with and/or with your family.

You will also receive a free mini Kitbag as part of the training.

The session is delivered by International Futures Forum (IFF) on behalf of Youth 1st. IFF is an educational charity based in Fife that aims to grow the capacity to thrive, not just survive, in the 21st Century. One of the key components for enabling this is Kitbag. Developed by a group of professionals and designers, the resource provides ways for children, young people, and adults to engage in meaningful conversations to become calmer, share their feelings, and grow more trusting relationships.

    What's in Kitbag?

Kitbag comprises a cloth-wrap, printed material in the form of cards and booklets, a wooden talking stick, a small vial of aromatic oil, a one-minute and three-minute sand-timer and two finger puppets. There is music available by download to accompany the kit.

    How to you use Kitbag?

Whilst Kitbag is designed to be used intuitively and without specific training (there is also an instruction booklet included), many people find it helpful to participate in a simple introductory session to learn more about its use. In this session, you work through each component of Kitbag experiencing how it is used and reflecting on how this can help you in your work and/or with your family.
