Kingdom Off Road Motorcycle Club have announced they are providing another fully funded, 12-week programme for young adults in Fife.

'Back on Track' is a weekly programme for 16-25 year-olds, focused on mental health and wellbeing.

    About the programme

The programme will include education and group work in the morning followed by practical off-road riding in the afternoon.

Participants will work through Youth Achievement Awards for young adults aged 16-25 years old.

During the group work sessions, they focus on motorcycle maintenance and mechanics, health and safety, responsible riding, sporting pathways, and mental health and wellbeing subjects. During the afternoon participants will go out on the motorbikes learning off-road motorcycle skills and riding techniques.

We know from research that adrenaline inducing activity releases happy bio-chemicals endorphins, dopamine, serotonin, oxytocin. The programme will naturally stimulate minds through positive motorcycling activities whilst bonding with others and learning new skills.

This programme will encourage and help participants to develop a healthy body and healthy mind.

    Course details

The programme runs from 10.00am until 2.30pm every Thursday, starting on 26 June 2025. The last session will take place on 11 September 2025.

There are places for 12 candidates who will have to travel to Cardenden Motocross Track for this programme. If using public transport, you can get a bus to Cardenden, and there's a 10-15 minute walk to the Corrie Centre.
